- Small-fit size: CPSIA §101(a)(2) lead — tested, SGS (2026); 16 CFR 1610 flammability — exempt as an all-olefin fabric under §1610.1(d)(2), same SGS report
- Not certified to EN 149 (FFP2): AirPop masks are barrier face coverings, not PPE under Regulation (EU) 2016/425

## Technology

- Patents: US 10,798,979 B2 · EP 3178526 B1 · CN 105795554 B — molded breathing mask with a perforated outer cup and replaceable filter (inventor Christopher Hosmer). The patents cover the 3D mask structure, not the seal.
- 3D Aerodome Structure: Creates an air pocket that holds the filter off the lips; air-flow resistance 8 mm H₂O (ASTM F3502-21, Intertek)
- 360° Soft Touch Seal: Conforms to the face, built to close the gaps flat-fold masks leave
- Multi-Layer Filtration: layered construction around an electrostatic filter. >97% sub-micron particulate filtration efficiency (ASTM F3502-21, Intertek)
- Reusable: up to 10 cleaning cycles per mask (70% alcohol wipe), about $0.50 per wear (40 wears per four-pack)

Not made with natural rubber latex. AirPop Nasal Strips are not FDA-cleared; AirPop makes no therapeutic claims and states plainly that clinical evidence for mouth taping is limited.
